the city of Tiraspol on February 27, 2025

The initial situation of the projekt

The City of Tiraspol is expecting earthquakes from

Romania, about 200 km away. For this reason, the

earthquake early warning system with connection to

the mobile network was installed on February 27,

2025 and successfully accepted.

For this purpose, a master earthquake detector and two 

submaster earthquake detectors were installed in the

building.

ZALANDO has equipped its warehouse in Mönchengladbach-Güdderath with the "secty lifePatron".

The knowledge that the new warehouse was built in the Lower Rhine Plain in a geologically very
active earthquake zone in Germany was reason enough to install the innovative earthquake
warning system.

Public warning

Disaster management increases earthquake security
There are 8 population sirens in the event of a disaster, including used in typhoons or other disasters.
Now the disaster management has additionally equipped the already installed population sirens with an
onsite early earthquake warning system. In the event of a severe earthquake, an alarm to the population will
be activated automatically via the public warning sirens. In addition, employees are informed by SMS.

ROCHE KAISERAUST

To ensure that the entire gas supply actually only closes in the event of a strong earthquake,
a redundancy of three earthquake signals "MASTER" was provided. The alarm signals are sent to a control center.
There, the software decides on the shutdown of gas valves and the alarm. Only when two masters of three send an alarm, the gas valves are automatically
closed. If severe damage occurs to the pipes, gas will no longer escape, reducing consequential damage from fires.

Roche

The National Disaster Response Force "NDRF" has in collaboration with secty electronics GmbH
and Terra Techcom Pvt ltd. realized 3 projects in Gaziabad, Daharun and New Delhi. In addition,
a public warning siren was also used in the project in Gaziabad. During the test alarm,
the warning signal was heard up to 4km away.
